You can download it on iTunes - yes it costs money, but it's the only legal way you can watch it here. I recommend Apple TV in general out here... it's much easier to watch our shows the next day, and most are available. It's comparable in price, ea…

Hi, You might not remember meeting me, but I met you at Owens birthday party last year. Sandy and I where talking and she said you might be starting a photography class? If you are, I would love more info. I am needing to learn the basics about how to use my camera; it is a Sony (should have got a Cannon I know, but it was a price thing). I am needing to learn more about the right setting to use and lenses and such. You can email me if you want @ nblackburn27@yahoo.com

Hello,

I was checking the B&H site and i'm not sure what the difference is between the two lenses they are offering in the kits.
One has a 55-250 mm and the other one is like the one at Sam's which is a 18-55mm.
I don't know what this means in lamens terms.
I'm at a lost trying to figure out which is the better deal.
Thanks for the advice.
Its a good deal with free shipping its cheaper than Sam's either way.
Talk soon Denise

Hello Aviva,
Thank you for replying at the Hai site.
YEAH!!!!
I'm so excited that you are going to offer classes. We Leave CONUS on Jan 28th. I hope that I'll make it to your first class. I'm looking at purchasing a Canon Rebel Xsi. Or do you think its best to wait and purchase a 40 or 50 D instead? My goal is to work in Natural light and since I have children to be able to take their pictures without ghosting :) I appreciate the time you take out to answer my questions. Happy New Year, Denise

You gave me perfect advice, thanks! yes, 900 is too steep for a beginning set up for me - I'd love to really "get into" photography, but don't want to heavily invest in case it's a passing phase! My sister-in-law is an artist and photographer, has all the "right" equipment but generally takes a little pocket digital camera every where she goes instead! She saves the "big dog" for jobs, etc, and uses the point and click for every day use. Sometimes she even grabs the disposables off the rack! LOL I guess it goes back to the "dope behind the weapon" so to speak, a true photographer can use anything and take a great shot.

Hi Aviva! I'm in need of camera advice. I've never owned a "real" camera but there are several for sale in the camera group's for sale section. I don't want to buy more than I need out of ignorance, but also don't want to miss a good bargain! I'm going to be traveling with it a great deal, so it's can't be too delicate. Do you have time to take a look at what is there to see if any of those are good deals for me? Or do you have a suggestion for a good starter camera? I prefer "gently used" to new, unless you can suggest a decent new one that comes in at a cheaper price than the upper-end used ones. Am I making any sense? lol

Hi again Aviva. My grandaughter's piano lesson is at 3:30. Kristyn drops her off for her lesson and then goes back to Lester to meet the school bus droping off my grandson Donald. After picking him up She returns to the school to get Kalyn who is either waiting at the school or walking around on the seawall. Maybe someday you and Kristyn might happen to meet either at the music school or elsewhere on the Island. - aka Grandpa Ed

Hi Aviva. Noticed in your recent comment Sushi Zen's new location that you take your daughter to her piano lesson on Mondays at Sunset Music School. I am wondering what is the time of her lesson because my grandaugher also takes piano lesson there on Mondays. So I wonder if maybe you and her monther, Kristyn Albers, might have met at the school and did not realize that you both are member of the Hai Society. Just wondering.
