Here are a couple of photos of Lucy! She was born July 20, so she's almost a month old now.
I'm not positive it ACTUALLY requires a bachelor's degree. I remember them telling me this, but I can think of some subs off hand who definitely did not have their bachelors yet. I think if they are desperate enough they'll hire any sub they can get.

Baby Lucy was born this week! Lucille Grace was born July 20 at 6:11pm, 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
It is easiest on everyone if you are put on his orders before you guys come over here. Have him talk to his detailer or career counselor or whoever is in charge of amending his orders as soon as possible, because it might be a process.

- I've been living in Okinawa for two and a half years. I have various "jobs" I keep busy with here, including substitute teaching, math tutoring, teaching college math classes, and photography. I'm working on my Masters degree in Education. My husband just returned from a year long IA deployment, so I'm a pro at being alone.

- Kristin just wanted to let you know that my hubby went ALL OVER Foster today from one place to another trying to find someone who could check our new car seat installation and NO ONE HERE DOES IT!! Very very frustrating and to be honest pretty darn stupid if you ask me...if they require us to use them here then they need someone to check them out.ARGH!!

- Kristin - no i didnt find anyplace BUT i just saw in the AAFES flyer a little info that said the on base fire dept checks car seats...now i know these flyers are not specifically for Okinawa but i would still assume that is where we can go get the car seats checked. It should have occured to us to go there since that is where we went in the states. We are installing our new one (she is turning 1 next week) and will try to go by the fire dept and see if they really do check it. I will let you know what happens.

We are getting married in less than 3 weeks! I think I should be freaking out but I am not. Everything is falling into place. I still need unity candles, a memorial candle, a guest book and I need to ensure my sister has her son in the correct tuxedo. He's the ring barer so he needs to match Ryan's tuxedo.
