Finally here

So after 3 layovers and a total of 17 hours of flying we have finally made it to Okinawa. It's taking some time for us to get situated so things have been a bit stressful... I must admit I've cried twice already! We're staying optimistic and know that once we get settled in and get a car things will me GREAT!! We can't wait to get out and about to see all the things the island has to offer...... We just need the weather to be a bit more cooperative (stupid typhoons)

Arriving in August

My family will be arriving to Okinawa during the very first part of August and we are so excited. My husband is going to the ADA unit so we already know that being army that we'll prob be the minority on Kadena so we were wondering if anyone else is army and going around the same time we will be.

dang, I hope your hhg comes here safely!! Water aerobics was SOOOOO fun. I'm going to go all the time lol. There's one tomorrow morning at 7 but idk if I want to go to foster that early. I want to go to zumba but I'm scared of looking like an idiot haha.

wait.. all that damage was just from your express!?!? oh my!! i want to go to the aquarium sooo badly. we keep saying we are going to but haven't yet. we've been around but not to any tourist attractions yet. i think we're going to go to the beach this weekend though, i desperately need some sun. i need to get back in the gym so badly. i want to go to zumba but i've never done it before so i'm scared lol. i'm going to water aerobics tonight haha i've never done it before so it's going to be interesting!

Sorry it takes me so long to write back, I hardly ever get on here! That's a lot of stuff to be broken. :( I am so scared, we get our hhg next week sometime. Our express was good and it's been better to have a little to make it easier to live like some kitchen stuff. I'm so sorry so much of your stuff was broken. That's awful. Have you started decorating? How are you getting settled in?

So are you guys getting better? I hate being sick, I just had to head to the docs today because of a horrible migraine that suck the vision out of my left eye. Now I have to go see a neurologist . I hope you guys are doing well, cant wait to meet someday

Dang, I wish we liked our house. The bathroom's flooded twice already and it really stinks. It's so bare too haha. Which base did you get on? We need to get decorating soon! Good luck on your dog search.
