Hi, OK. I haven't even finished your essay yet but you are SOOOOO mine once I get back from vacation. And I am going to make you drive!!! Seriously, there are few things in this life that I, um, 'dislike' more than the timid driver. I will get you d…
I wanted to reply back to everyone, but I've had an extremely busy couple of weeks...I’ll have to try and do that later. Thank you ladies SO MUCH! Sometimes it just helps to have people say, "I understand" or "I've been there!".
So, all that worryi…
So I am about to leave this island, two weeks to go, and here is what I learned;
of course it's beautiful. I was almost intoxicated the first six month, then I went back to Dallas for a business meeting, came back and hated every thing about Okinawa…
The first time I left my hometown and the first time I was on a plane was to move to Germany.
Let me tell you I TOTALLY understand the fear. I cried everyday for a month. My husband thought he was going to have to send me home. It took me a while to…
I read this and I have to admit (not to be mean but because its true) that I laughed...not because I think its funny...but because you are voicing every single fear I have....and its nice to know that I am not the only wife/mother out there who feel…
One reason I love Okinawa is becasue of this blog and all of you guys who make it great.
Although I don't have the same problem as some of you this time I remember that feeling from when we lived in Seoul. Driving there freaked me out. It was all ve…
I am a Marine Corps wife. Currently living on Camp Pendleton, but we're set to report to Okinawa by April 1st. Futenma will be our base, but still not sure where we'll be living just yet.
I look forward to meeting other members of the Hai Society and look forward to the time when the PCS is over and the island is a place to explore and enjoy.
Hey Grace I commented on you post. If you ever want to get together just let me know. I do have one very rowdy little 2 1/2 year old little girl with me during the day - my oldest is in school thank goodness!
Hey! How are you guys doing in your new place? We came after the 1st so we're stuck on base for now. Hopefully we'll be able to meet up for lunch sometime. If you need anything, let me know!
I am nor will I ever probably be settled in completely. LOL!!! I am not an organized person and after unpacking these boxes and realizing that I have WAY too much stuff to fit into this house, I am going to have to get rid of some unnecessary things. I can only imagine how hard it is to do with a 2 and a 4 year old. My kids are 14 and 9 and that is difficult enough. LOL!
Glad to hear that y'a ll arrived safely! Happy to meet another buckeye!haha My hubby and I are both from the Youngstown area. We were stationed in SC before here and have been here for 2 years so far. Love it so much that hubby just did his IPCOT, so we have 5 more yrs here. Hope you're adjusting well. I honestly think this years weather isn't so bad yet either. I remember it feeling alot worse in the past... hopefully it stays "not so bad" lol. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!!
Good luck on your flight. PLUS your response to anastasia was awesome. Your results pics are great.
I am definately looking up the body for life. I have not made being healthy and looking great a priority and it shows!
Time to work hard to get it back. Thanks for the virtual kick in the butt.
ha ha ha thank god I'm not the only one and this is our 4th PCS and this has been the worst of them all. and just like you its because of medical clearances and mine seem to be dragging on we've been at this for right over 2 months now for multiple reasons and I dont think they have anything left they can even want to look at and if they do I'm going to scream. we have to hear something back from Oki this week or I dont know whats going to happen we are within our 60 day window and this totally blows
