Hi again, Kaho,

Can you help me with the three sentences that I would like to say to my grand-daughter when she visits her grandmother and me on her way to Okinawa?

Refer to my comment to you of May 23rd.

Thank you,

Ed Loy

Hi Kaho

Thought you might be able to help me. My grand-daughter is PCSing to Okinawa this July with her family. She is 11years and currently thinks the move will be "coollll"

I have been sending her information and pictures (mostly from okinawahai) to develope her interest.

Her family will be visiting with her grand-mother and me before flying to Okinawa in July. What I would like to be able to do when she comes to visit is greet her in Japanese saying the following:

"Welcome, Kalyn, to our home."

and when she and the family leave from their visit be able to say in Japanese:

"Goodbye, Kalyn, have a wonderful stay on Okinawa."

"Your grand-mother and I look forward to coming to visit you
there next year."

I think if I make the effort to learn to say these phases to her it will stimulate her interest to begin learning the language as she travels to Okinawa.

Can you e-mail me (edloy@cecdirect.net) how to say these words?

Thank you,

Ed Loy - AKA (to my grand-daughter) Grandpa Ed

Hey, girls! I debated whether I should put geisha, but ninja is more fun! Kimono, woohoo! I'll go to Naha with you if you're willing. I have to miss the kimono fair hosted by Kadena Gift Corner! :( I'm working on the first day and I'm leaving for Kyoto on the second day. Boooh.

I like your pages with themes! I tried to do it, but didn't know if the background will be changed for everyone in our group or not. I guess not. I'm such a computer illiterate.
