- Hi! My husband and I are currently stationed at RAF Mildenhall but are PCSing to Kadena AFB in November. My DH is an avid gamer (oh joy) where as I enjoy getting out and about, scrapbooking (hands on and digital paid and unpaid), singing and reading. We're really looking forward to our time in Okinawa and I'm shocked that we got it as it was at the top of our list!!

I honestly don't know the sizes buuuuuut.. Before we came here, I shipped a big box with a moses basket and some other stuff in and I think it only just fell within the limits! But I would definitely check to make sure! I don't know if you have a theme going on but we'll be getting rid of our play n pack next year if you're interested? It's a baby einstein and has been used a handful of times!

So other than that, all is good here.. babies growing too fast =( Puppy is great! Weather is starting to cool down now and is soooooooooooo much more bareable! (wow I use alot of !!!'s!)
Well the in-laws are here for a visit and they keep talking to me and it's making me want to write what I'm saying!

- Interesting is one way of describing it haha! No, actually he's doing good! He and Jack are like best buds already! What dog do you have? Ours is a Pug! You do know that if he/she's on hub's orders, they'll pay for him to come over!
I understand how you feel with the sickness urgh! The dr told me to buy some Somnitabs from the commisary and have half a tablet at night. That really really help to ease my sickness! But when all is said and done, it;s a good sign! Just make sure you get all the naps in that you possibly can as once baby is here... Well let's just say I miss napping!
Do you know if you'll still be taking your COT yet? I honestly don't know what to say about the housing situation,, Other than, I've got my fingers crossed that you get somewhere! Maybe the situation would have eased off by the time you get here and people will choose to move off base..
Typhoon season has been a let down so far! They threatened one not so long ago but it totally bypassed us and sadly got Taipei! It got a little windy and that was the excitement! We were all ready to get gout from all the processed crap we have stocked up in case of one and... Nothing! Probably a good thing I guess! I think it ends around November time so you'll be safe!

We've been saying it to ourselves since we left the store haha! But in all honesty, he seems to be doing ok! Well for his 1st day anyway!

- Oh also.. Anything non-perishable that you love but can't get anywhere but home, STOCK UP ON! We bought lots of squash, Walkers, Salad Cream, Comfort softner, SURE DEODORANT, Marmite, HP, nice chocolate... That's about all I can think of right now oh and Rusks and shepards pie mix if you like that?! We pretty much stocked up for a while on that kinda stuff! I mean, if you can live without it, then that's cool but deodorant is the one thing I cannot do without! I just don't like the stuff they sell on base! Getting my sis and dad to bring some more when they come!

- Oh don't worry! God I'm sorry about your cyst! I have them but luckily they don't bother me.. Isn't the ultrasound exciting! When I had my 1st with Jack, I couldn't help but get all emotional! We'd had a miscarriage previously and just to be able to know he was here made me cry! Pregnancy hormones! Gotta love them! (p.s.. they get worse!)
Yes I got bedtime sickness the worst! Urgh so do not miss those days!

Lucky you! But I'm glad you get to choose your buggy while back home! And no, you won't need too many winter clothes! Well I guess on the up-side, if you can't use your COT, at least family in the states can meet the baby! =) We were gonna use ours in the new year but Danny's parents live in Ecuador and the thought of travelling 20+ hrs with a 6month old and an almost 3 yr old scares the hell outta me! Think we'll save it till next yr!
Not much going on here.. Feeling a little homesick and sorry for myself! Comes and goes! But my dad and sister are coming out on Sept 20th! My sister will be here for 3 weeks and my dad is staying for good!! So that is exciting! It'll be the 1st time they'll see Izzy! Speaking of which, she's just taken thee stinkiest poop so I'd best fix that before it knocks us out haha! The joys of parenting hey?!

- I'm good thanks! How are you feeling? Are you suffering with morning sickness yet? It's a bloody bitch if you do! Are you being seen on base? If you are, they normally do your 1st appt at around 10 weeks. If you do find you suffer with sickness, ask you dr for some vitamin B6. It is a lifesaver! And also go to the WIC office! They give you free milk, eggs, cheese etc while you're pregnant and 6 months after. Plus you get free formula for the baby once he/she's born and then milk, eggs, cheese, bread etc til they're 5! You can transfer it here too! I would also reccommend stocking up on any baby clothes you like here as the selection on base sucks!!!!! Well ok, it's certainly not my style should I say! And also, if you're like me (a buggy obbsessed freak!) Buy your buggy at home too! They only seem to have one style here! But furniture wise, the furniture store has an ok collection!

- Oh God that sounds confusing. I have been worrying about school. I want to do my pre med but there are no colleges that offer me that in Kadena, i am really sad i dont want to stop school. But now i am worried about my son not getting clearance and what will happen if he doesnt. I want to come back to the states but since my hubby has special duty dont know. Ima start a discussion.
