Jennifer - The soya chunks are "aka" textured vegetable chunks. I buy all my TVP "meats" like that online. They are available from the store on my blog also (those are the exact ones I buy). They had a wonderful texture! Super yummy! Most all of t...

Ok - I have spent an hour looking for it, and can't find it anywhere. Someone on here gave me the web address for a place on mainland that ships here (all vegan goods) if you live out in town. I for the life of me can not find the info anywhere! C...

Great! Thanks for the info. There are 3 members in my family. And we typically shop at the Kadena Comm, but I don't mind going to Foster if they have what I need. I haven't really shopped there, where would I find the soy products? I'll join the group too. My daughter is also having trouble with eggs too. She might just be a self-proclaimed Vegan, lol. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Jennifer, not sure if this is the best place to ask this...I saw you were the leader of the Vegan group.
I'm a mom of a 1 year old that has a milk allergy. She cannot do regular cheeses or yogurt. She is currently drinking Silk soy milk and is fine with that. I was wondering if you knew any or had any suggestions as to where I could find other soy products? Soy yogurt, soy chese? Is there such a thing? Thanks for any help you may have.

Jennifer, I'm never sure quite where to write but it's good to hear, and yes, I got your notes. Unfortunately, I'm NOT related directly to the Punxy Pearces. What a great story they have. They're descended, I believe, from what I call the Jefferson, Clearfield, and Indiana Co. Pearces. I've written about them on my OLD webpage: WWW.GEOCITIES.COM/PEARCE2002 then click "E-gen", the old .doc E-gen and "Pearce." If you can't find it, let me know. You or your husband can write to me directly at PEARCE@ATLANTICBB.NET.
Thanks for responding and best wishes over there,
Larry Pearce

Well, the McDougall cups are super lightweight. You have to add your water to it so its like all dried out and all that jazz!

Thanks for the well wishes! We're definitely anxious! Somehow, we've gotten everything done and leave for the airport in one hour so I'm on here...I am assuming I leaving something undone...I don't have this kind of luck!

They are a tad costly, but the thing I can't stand about the vegan thing right now is that for simple meals you have to cook...everything. There aren't a lot of microwavable options!! So I ordered a few of his cups online and LOVE them! I think I'm not quite confident about the whole figuring all the ingredients out quite yet, so I am sure I will find my grove on what to cook after a while. I've been trying to transition to it for a month now and this move and the stress of the move has just taken the forefront for now. I'm ready to get it behind me and focus on my goals! Thank goodness we fly out TOMORROW!

This website has helped me so much and the shipping isn't too exorbitant.

Luckily my Mom is AMAZING and anything I have ordered, she is going to put into flat rate shipping boxes for me and ship it over! I am sure I can sneak in a few items here and there! :)

Thanks for the compliment of thinking ahead...my husband calls it being a 'worry wart', but hey - what can you do? I wonder if we should i.c.e. the commissary...I don't think it should be just a vegan issue...honestly, there are people who are lactose intolerant and with the new Marine Corps standards, it almost seems like people should look into it for the lower calories. However, it's the Marine Corps...enough said.

Sounds good! I was looking at your information and meant to ask if you've tried the Dr. McDougall cups?
