I live down on the bottom side of the earth on Camp Kinser with my daughter. We moved here the end of Aug last year, found out in Oct that my husband was deploying, and he left the day after xmas for training and I have hardly seen him since. Now I'm just hoping to see him by this xmas.
But anyway, enough of that. I love living here. This is a great place to live and a great place for my daughter to grow up. I try to explore some new area every weekend. Sometimes that works out, sometimes not so much. Anyone like to play Scatergories? Even though my husband won all the time (and I mean all- 100%, no matter who we were playing with) it was still a ton of fun and I miss those good times.
I am always up for a new experience for lunch/dinner, a trip to the beach or Blue Seal, a good cup of coffee, and a good conversation.

- Roaming the internet- actually, had done a google search for "tattoo Okinawa" and I just went with the tangent.

Also, tucked under the stairs in the same building as Yogurtland/the Ferris Wheel in American Village is a little place called Caboo Cafe. They are open for lunch and dinner and it is really tasty. It is kind of like mexican, but different and not...

Came to me via my Word of the Day email. Today's WOTD was "defenestrate." A term I was already familiar with, but what a great word! I'm such a geek, sometimes it shocks even me.
Several of those Lego men are from the star wars collections. Luke is on the wall (just defenestrated), Ben Kenobi and Qui-Gon are in the crowd.

- Hey! Yeah it was so busy and then I saw Flip and kinda did a double take! We didn't go out for long with Jack as he was just gettig over a bad cold & cough! Which he subsiquently passed to Izzy and myself so even though all our visitors have gone, we've all been suffering haha! Typical! The only one left is my dad but he's here to stay as our dependant so that's handy and a hindrence all in one! Kinda like having a 3rd child in a way at times! But he has just taken Jack out on his bike so the house is peaceful ahhhh!

Tracey T said… - Hey... yes, I remember! I honestly haven't met up for any playdates since the one at Baba park. I think things kinda slowed down because of how darn hot it was getting, haha. I know my daughter would overheat very easily, so we just tried to find fun things to do in the a/c or water. Now that the weather is getting cooler maybe the playdates will start back up again =) If only this darn rain would stay away now and let the sun come out and play more often, lol!!
