We usually pack a small cooler with snacks, oranges and apples, and drinks for the beach trip. The kids love it! So many places to look through and find the pretty shells!
Ok so I was thinking about sharing one of our beaches with you ladies. Celia and I found a really nice beach on one of the outer islands to the east of us. Over by White Beach. It's not really that hard to get to but it does take about 30 mins or so…

- Hey y'all! My name is Lizz and we are officially now on the great island of Okinawa. We arrived the evening of the 24th of April and it was a long flight! But the kids made it alive and well and I am so happy that I got to wake up next to my husband this morning. We will be here for the next 3 yrs so hit me up for any questions or wanting to get together for anything. I'm always up for anything! Talk to y'all later!

- Just finished my income taxes! My brain is 'frazzled'....LOL..Me? I'm 33, Navy wife, married for 4 years, no kids (yet), like to explore to Island as much as I can. There are many schools on the Island, I can't really say which one is better than the other, of course many people have their own opinion. I'll send you an email with the info....

Hyla said… - We live just outside Gate 1 Kadena, and there are many preschools around here. My husband works on Kinser, but we like living up here closer to everything and sort of in the middle. Our son goes to Sunshine Montessori from 9-3 everyday and Nora will be starting in a few months. We really liked East-West Montessori as well, but there were five kids ahead of us on the wait list.

Saw your post. Tori station is beautiful. It's about 15-20 mins from us but I go there at least once a week. Did you find out for sure that your husband will be stationed there? I'm always up for exploring the island. My son started preschool so it's just my 3 year old daughter and I, and we try to go somewhere a few times a week. I'll start working eventually, so I want to to cram in all the fun exploring.
