I'm Claire, married to Danny. A Ssgt in USAF. I'm born and bred British and we left RAF Lakenheath, UK and arrived on the Island (makes me think of Lost when I say that!) on April 10th and so far are loving it! We have a 2 yr old boy, Jack and on June 4th I gave birth to a little girl, Izzy. We live on Kadena. I miss my friends and family back home but am trying to make some friends here!
and just when the sun came out, too . . . .
oh well. It's all good and I understand about poo. Definitely something best kept at home and disposed of properly.

oh, and is your dad going to be joining us? I went back by that bakery near me again this afternoon and it is better than I remembered. The croissant was great (forgot to take pics until I was down to about 3 bites) and I picked up a cranberry walnut roll that actually toasted up pretty good. They also make merengue drops that are pretty good. Let me know if he will be joining us and I'll pick up the right number of treats.
around 3-ish or a little before. There are several different entrances, but I think there is only one directly from 329. I believe there are signs and all and it looks like the entrance to a park. I believe it will be on the left side (passenger side) of the road.
It's down 329 just before you get to the Living Design Square (the place with Today OK! and Max Plus) if you're coming from Kadena. Tuesday is good for me. Try googling it and if it doesn't ring any bells as to where it is, we can meet somewhere and you can follow me. I think you can just go out Gate 2 and follow that road 'till where it connects to 329 then head south. I usually take 81 behind Foster and connect to 329 that way.
I always go feed the ones at Comprehensive Park - do you know where that is? How about Monday or Tuesday afternoon? About 3-ish? I pick Flip up from school at 2:30 and that will give me plenty of time.
How about bringing a little snow back? If that doesn't work out, I'm always pining for some really good cheese. :) I would be more than happy to give you some money for it.
Anyway, now that the weather is gorgeous, we should go to a park/playground. I've got tons of old stale cereal if Jack would enjoy feeding some fish. I know Flip likes it and apparently it is something I never outgrew either.
haha- don't sweat it. I wouldn't even have noticed you not asking. Flip is doing great. She wound up having candy for breakfast the following morning b/c she can be a sneaky little imp from time to time. Sorry you guys are all down with something. But good thing for your grown older 3rd child to be able to take Jack out for a bit! I could use one of those around! ;) We're on the final month count-down until Mr. Shue comes back - day after my b-day is the planned-for date. We'll see how it actually works out.

I never see you on there, not in ages. I'll be around this evening after Flip goes to bed.

I asked the page for a link and that is what it told me to copy. Maybe (hopefully) that will take you somewhere useful. You'll see the big stadium-looking track, then the dirt-looking track and then the fish/koi pond beside it. I always take what seems to be the middle entrance off of 329. If you think you can find it we can meet in the parking lot, or if you're still not sure, we can meet on Foster and you can follow me. All of this assuming it doesn't rain at 3.
