Hi! I've been on the island for a couple of months and recently heard about this website. I love to read as well, and my favorite author is Dean Koontz. I also have a soft spot for historical romance novels...love them! =)

You know I think it seemed even shorter to me because I read the first chapter on her website before the book was out. It did seem to move faster than the other books but it also ended abruptly - to me anyway. I had just thought more would be cleared up in regards to her love life. I did hate that she gave you such good news about a person and then killed them off. I realize there will be more but I just hate waiting. I am not sure about her writing style but I will buy the rest of the series cause I am hooked on the story!
Gotta agree with Heather on this one - I love Eric. I didn't always and personally preferred how Quinn treated her and I think she was awful to him. Eric has grown on me and I hope she ends up with him. Bill is a jerk and I just can't forgive him for what he did to her. Although I am a little closer thanks to this book.
I haven't seen True Blood but I would love too! I am running out of things to watch while my hubby is gone anyway.

Really I read it and I was al ittle dispointed in it. It seemed shorter than the others and I really hate that people (I won't ruin it for you Heather!) I liked were killed off. Plus it didn't reslove much in the love department. The book was alright I am just not sure if I am a fan of her writting style.

Dasha, did you go to church yesterday? I was there but I didn't see you. Maybe that new haircut?? :) Anyway, I loved the church and will be attending weekly. Hopefully I can find you next week.
