Just wanted to share...Matt and I just got back from snorkeling at Maeda Point and it was excellent. Probably not the best for the real little ones because you have to walk down a lot of stairs and walk over some rock to get into the water. But I hear about 5 minutes from there is Maeda Flats which might be easier to walk into. Definitely worth checking out.

Let's plan on it girls- how about we plan for Tuesday morning. Would 9:30 work for you all? Any suggestions on where would could go? I'm up for anything although if we start out with someplace close by perhaps more people could join us. Actually, I'll post this on a discussion thread so we can keep all the comments for this outing all together ;)

I'd also be interested in snorkeling in the mornings. My munchins are in preschool and I work part-time, but usually have 1 or 2 mornings free a week.

I spent Sunday snorkeling out on Minna island. It was awesome! Took a tour with Kadena ITT, they drove us out to Toguchi port in Motobu (an hour north of Kadena) and took care of tickets as well. This weekend is a trip out to Zamami Island, a little more expensive, but if the weathers nice it will be well worth it!

Hi all, I started this group and I apologize that I have not sorted any meetups out. I would love to go next week sometime if anyone is free. This week is getting kind of crazy, but glad some of you might be hooking up, have fun :o)

Hi JaNae, when where you thinking of? I have a 9 month old, I would be willing to watch other kids and then switch. I would love to go but the little one no longer has an on-call babysitter.

Hi JaNae... and Shannon and Christine and Jenna... I joined this group a while back, but there's been no activity going on! I would love to snorkel in the mornings during the week. I work at the Youth Center, but in the afternoons; mornings are free :) My husband and I have snorkeled a few times. Maeda Flats have been my favorite so far. This was my first time to snorkel... so you are getting a beginner's viewpoint. Sent me a message and let's see what we can do.

Hey- I saw this group and thought it would be fun. I just started snorkeling and I'm pretty new at it but I would love to find someone who likes to snorkel (especially during the day when the kids are gone). Hopefully there will be more activity on here. But anyone who would like to go (this week would be great) let me know!
