Hello Reiko,

I'm just seeing this post now.  Welcome to the group!  We meet the 1st Thursday of every month (September - June) at 9am at the Starbucks in American Village.  Our next meeting is June 7th and we look forward to seeing you there!

HI everybody!
my husband and i just got to okinawa almost 2 weeks ago!
I still dont have a job and we are just moving to out house tomorrow
i also dont have car and it'd prolly take some time since i dont have a licence either lol i have alot of free time and im really interested in meeting you guys some time and learn some photography!
we have a nikon D5100 and dont really know how to use it!!
dont know much about photography but
i am a part time model and I've been doing it for a while so if you guys ever need a model please let me know!! :)))
I can't wait to start doing shootings here in Oki but dont know many photographers and cant go too far because i usually just take taxis to American village! lol

Hello Evie!

Welcome to the group!  We meet at 9am on the 1st Thursday of each month at the Starbucks in American Village (across from the Ferris Wheel).  It's at these meetings where we discuss the 'walk-about' for the month that is usually held on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  Our walkabouts are at all hours of the day and sometimes on weekends as well!  I look forward to meeting you at our March meeting!  Thanks for joining and welcome to the group!

Hi I'm Evie & I love photography. I did some wedding photography as a part time job (2nd job) but mostly because I enjoyed taking photos. I would love to go to neat places out here in Okinawa for some great shots! So count me in. I look forward to meeting thd group & taking some photos at the next location. Weekends works for me like Saturdays since we only have 1 car.

Just a quick reminder, we have our sakura meet up this Thurs up at najakin castle site. Meeting 0830 at the Kadena USO! for carpooling and following etc. If you don't want to meet there, you can meet at the site, just look for people with cameras :o) Bring Yen!

Welcome, Jason and Tom! We look forward to meeting you! Tom, you would be welcome to start an evening meeting. Some that do go to the 0900 meeting do have jobs, their hours are just different to a regular 9-5/7-4, etc! (Myself included) And many of us have in addition to or instead of a paid job, the most important unpaid job of all: raising kids! Thanks for your input! Happy New Year!
