Matt ... if you are an aafes.com user, you can buy online at Ritz camera. Although you have to log on thru aafes.com, the go to the online shopping mall and find ritz camera. They give you I think 10% off because you are military.

Or you can use sigmaforless.com or bhphotovideo.com or beachcamera.com ... Those are the only ones I have used ... if anyone else knows of any others ... share!!!

Anyone selling a Canon 50mm lens (f/ 1.8, 1.4 OR 1.2). The lower the better if anyone is interested in selling it.

I really just want a remote for my own personal use. When I try to use the self timer it doesn't seem to focus very well. So if I'm trying to take a picture of myself I have to run up to the camera set the timer and then the camera focuses on the spot, but then when I got get in the picture it's blurry. So I thought a remote would fix that problem for me. I really just want it for when I would like to jump in a pic.

As you foud out most of the group went to the dark side(Nikon) but a few of us still use Canon as for Wire less remote's cannon has a few. I use the canon RC-1 and 1 cable TC-80N3 RC. using the canon RC-1 you have to set the camera up using the camera. The TC-80N3 you can set the camera up using the remote. I shoot with the Canon 5D Mark 2 they work very well. not shure what your using the remote for? If you go on line and grt lot of information on these and many more.
Hope this helps
