IS there any where on the island that you get waves? Not actually to surf so much but to use a boogie board. My son has been dying to go boogie boarding but he is use to waves that are on the Carolina coast.

Just wondering.

I know of a break at the end of the Sunabe seawall (where the dirt road is), but I am not sure how old your son is or more so how comfortable he is in the water. I would suggest going out during high tide b/c there is reef and the more water the better. There are two decent surf breaks and I always see surfers and boogie boarders out there. I have yet to get a surfboard, so I haven't been out yet. I am from California and am used to lots of waves as well and unfortunately they have been hard to find. But, now is the time waves come on the island because typhoon season is here. I would suggest fins for boogie boarders as well, b/c the current can get pretty strong on windy days. I hope that helps!
