Phone # for whomever is in charge of EFMP clearance

Hi my name is Mandy. We had our EFMP stuff done on OCt 2nd. No one was put on Efmp. I sent an email to the lady here incharge letting her know that we still didn't receive our travel message and she ignored it... this was 3 weeks ago. Today we find out the travel message we've been waiting for is apparently from Japan and the lady said she doesn't know what the problem is. And DH can't have his orders until this message comes.

What I need is the number for whomever is in charge of the EFMP clearance paperwork or travel messages there. We have bought a calling card and want to call tonight. His report date is supposed to be early December. This stuff has gone on so long now.

So if you have any phonenumbers that would help us please let me know. I am appreciate it so much.

I am not quite sure what you are waiting for. Once your clearance is complete stateside, it gets sent to Okinawa for review and final approval. Then, that message is sent back to your command and they issue the area clearance via message. If you are waiting for your medical clearance to be reviewed and approved by Okinawa, this gentleman helped me check my status when I was having delays ([e-mail]) If you are waiting for your area clearance travel message, that is up to your command.

I don't know if this guy will be able to help us, I forgot to mention that we are Army. But at this point DH may send him a message anyways.

Well we called. Our clearance was sent back in Oct. It is our end with the mess up. :( Why do we have to follow behind people and double check them?

Hello, I just Arrived here in August my dh is army as well, when he was getting sent over here the people in charge of the situation forgot he had family. So he ended up staying two months after graduation to get paper work finish because of the people in charge, sometimes I wonder how the people below are doing what was supposed to have been done already. It is crazy how hard it is just to get stuff done! We should get our orders today. :) They said a couple of hours so I am just crossing my fingers. I am getting excited that this all seems like it is finally going to work out. Waiting sucks!!! :)
