What do we need to do to be able to watch the new season of Grey's Anatomy? I tried to watch it online but it said I couldn't because of international laws.

If you go to www.hulu.com it has TONS of episodes of tv shows. It is great! The only problem is the buffering but maybe you have a better connection than we do.
so how do you make it work b/c you're no more in the US than I am and I got the charming message (the same one I got from ABC) that their video only streams w/in the US.
Thanks Lea..very good show. I can't wait to tell my nephew he can watch Heroes. It does suck that the screen was so small. So much for that big tv the hubby had to buy.
Jen try that website.

You can download it on iTunes - yes it costs money, but it's the only legal way you can watch it here. I recommend Apple TV in general out here... it's much easier to watch our shows the next day, and most are available. It's comparable in price, easier or cheaper than most other options. Good luck, Samantha! I love my Grey's...
To watch Hulu you need to mask your IP address here in Okinawa. It's a pain, and it doesn't look as good on a computer screen as it will on your TV if you d/l on iTunes and put it on an iPod & plug it into the tv - or if you get an Apple TV - which is really not that expensive, connects to the Internet, and is TOTALLY worth it out here.
Aviva
Aviva is right Apple TV is awesome. We love ours! We ditched our cable and use that money to get the shows we want instead. We usually end up buying the seasons when they come out on DVD anyway.
Aviva I have a question for you about the Apple TV. Ours keeps automatically re-downloading the shows everytime we turn on itunes and some things won't play unless itunes is running on our computer. How do I fix that?

I didn't do anything special to watch Hulu or "mask" my IP address so as far as I know I haven't done anything illegal to watch it. I just bought a new Macbook last week, plugged it in, typed in www.hulu.com and away I went. My screen is excellent and it works out so my husband can watch what he wants on TV and I can watch Grey's (he's not the biggest fan) without having to download, plugin, or buy something else.
Lea we had no problems with Hula until we bought a new router and after that we have been unable to use it without something to mask the our ip address. It may have been the router or it may have been the way Medeatti set up the computer either way as soon as we changed things we could no longer view it. Leagally you shouldn't be able to view it outside of the US because copywrite laws. Anyway my point is you are lucky! :)
yeah, definitely lucky. It doesn't work for me.
Also, your MacBook (along with all other Macs) automatically supports a plug-in for your tv. All you have to do is buy the connection cord and plug it into your MB and then plug the other end into the tv. Go into your sys preferences and look under the display section and select detect displays. Should work all by itself after that. So, if you want to hook your computer up to your tv (so you can watch on the relatively "big screen"), pop a big bowl of popcorn and have an afternoon on the couch you can. Only other thing is that you'll need another output for audio b/c your sound will still be coming from your laptop. We just use a line-out (the same one we use for our ipods) to plug the audio into the stereo receiver.

Well my luck has finally run out. Apparently with the new internet configuration early this morning I can no longer watch Hulu. I am a little upset about this =( I went to bed early last night before the end of the show I was watching and was like, "I'll just watch it on Hulu in the morning." Just my luck...
I watch all my shows from Free TV or Ninjavideo. They take awhile to buffer and sometimes Ninja doesn't work so I will go over to free tv. Free tv isn't as clear as ninja though. Hope this helps.
