Cat Food?

We are bringing our two kittens when we PCS to OKI in december. We are about to switch them over to adult cat food, and am trying to figure out what food they have available in OKI so they aren't going through too many changes. Does anyone know if they carry Buffalo Blue or Nutro cat food at any of the pet stores there? We've looked at ordering online but the shipping seems ridiculous. Any advice?

Hi! I have no idea about the two brands you listed above but the BX carries the lines of Iams and Science Diet. Or, maybe it was the commissary that had Iams and of course all of the regular store brands. I usually get science diet for our kitty from the BX. It's like 13 for the smaller bag I think. They have an offbase store called Petbox here but I have no idea what kind of food they carry there. Hope this helps:)

They do have nutro at the Pet Box (local pet store in american village). They also have science diet, natural balance, eukunuba, yarrah, pinnacle, pro plan. . . they really have a lot. They have yarrah, which is from the UK and very hard to find. It is what we use. I have also found that they can order stuff that you want if they don't have it.

Thanks Annastasia! Do you happen to know if they charge to special order food? Also, are the prices there pretty reasonable compared to what you were use to paying?

i know they carry Nutro dog food at the Commissary.So,they probably carry the cat food line also.There are plenty of good brands of dog and cat foods either at the BX or Commissary.Don't worry about finding what you need.I just shipped a big bag of what my animals were currently eating so, If I had to make a change I could do it slowly and one less thing to worry about when you first get here.
